How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?
Typically, couples book us at least 3 months before their wedding date and so we encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about availability. However, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame, sometimes we can be flexible, so please reach out anyway.
Do you work with assistants or other photographers?
Mostly, it’s just us, Joel and Carrie. We can usually cover most happenings in a wedding/reception and have no need for anyone else. However, on occasion, with larger more complex events, or where we are doing video as well, we can call upon other professionals that we’ve vetted and worked with before.
Do you also offer video services?
Yes we do. Please ask us about our video or video-photo hybrid packages.
How long will it take to see our pictures?
Our turnaround time varies depending a few factors such as seasonal business, size of the event, etc. Typically, you’ll be able to view your proofs online about 2 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to see some teaser photos, which are suitable for social media, depending upon the collection you choose.
How many pictures will we get?
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Are engagement photos a part of the package, or are they an additional fee?
Keeping the concept of the introduction the same, different documents have different styles to introduce the written text.

We do! Just let us know if your venue requires a certificate of liability (COI), and I’ll send that over to them.
